About The Author

Paddy Hayes was born in Southern England, and studied for a degree in Business Studies in London. With no particular plans for a career, he applied for work in an international advertising agency. Three weeks later he was deeply involved in the shooting of a tv commercial in which 10 penguins starred. He never looked back.

This was the beginning of a career which saw him in management roles in London and then Asia Pacific. At the end of The Cold War, he returned to London with the task of opening offices in Moscow, Beijing and the capitals of a number of East European countries.

Finally he found himself back in Hong Kong as Regional Director Asia Pacific before retiring back to England four years later.
